Keynote Address - Educational change in Singapore: equity, excellence and well-being.
The world has changed much since the start of this decade and education in Singapore needs to keep up with the times. What are some of the critical and timely changes? In developing these new areas, what timeless constants will help us navigate the turbulent waters of change? Through the experiences in the Singapore education system, I will share my thoughts regarding these questions and how we try to address the issues of equity, excellence and well-being.

Day 1 Keynote - Leaders use data to Learn-Teach-Lead!
I believe that Middle leaders are educators inextricably enmeshed in the leading of Professional Learning and teaching practices in their schools – downward, outward and upward. They are the essential glue, the critical link in ensuring the growth of ALL students. We will explore what moving from Numbers to FACES looks like as the Work of Middle Leaders who I call ‘Knowledgeable Others’.
Day 2 Keynote - Moving data from numbers to FACES as transformational leaders
In this session we will explore what it takes to use data to accomplish transformational change as a system, school, and teacher-leader. We will consider various types of data that set direction and guide change including Putting FACES on our data to know the students behind the numbers. We will conclude by hearing the voices of teachers and students who represent the FACES behind the numbers and reinforce what it takes to increase all students' ‘growth and achievement.’
